Do I need to pay a registration fee?
No, registration to the 2ndMove platform is free of charge.
I am an international purchaser, can I access the stocks of all of your markets?
As an international B2B purchaser, you can access the whole stock of vehicles (from France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, UK and Australia). In the search tool, you simply have to select the value ‘Europe’ under the category ‘Stock’.
How can I participate to an auction?
In order to participate to an auction, you need to create a ‘My 2ndMove’ personal account, or if you already have one, need to log-in to the platform through your personal account. We draw your attention to the fact that all the vehicles we sell are not submitted to an auction program. An auction program can also be combined with a buy-now program; in that case, you simply choose to bid, or to close the sale by buying the vehicle and ending the auction.
How do I know if my bid was successful?
Every time you place a bid on the platform, an e-mail is automatically triggered to your mailbox to confirm that your bid was successful. A mention also appears on the bidding screen of the website to inform you that the bid has successfully been placed.
The vehicle I was bidding for has disappeared from the auction I was participating. Why?
This may occur during a combined auction / buy-now sale: if you placed a bid on a given vehicle and another person presses the button ‘Buy-now’, the auction is automatically ended, and the vehicle is sold to this customer. An e-mail is automatically triggered by our website to inform you that, as a bidder, you lost this auction.
Why is there no auction for the vehicles in the French stock?
The French legislation imposes us to organize auctions (even online auctions) via an auctioneer. This is why we cannot offer this service in France.
How much time will an international payment take?
A regular online SEPA transaction does not take more than 3 working days.
Where do I find the bank details in order to make a payment?
Once you confirmed your order on our website, you will receive an email with the relevant information about the vehicles you purchased and the bank account details to which the payment should be made. Please note that the vehicles ordered will only be released once the full payment is confirmed by our accounting department.
When will I receive the original invoice / documents?
The length of time it will take for you to receive the invoice / documents will vary from Country to Country.
When will I receive the vehicles document?
The delay of reception will differ from country to country. Please contact our sales centres.
Do I need a Contract for the International Carriage of Goods by Road (CMR) if I transport the vehicles ordered myself?
If you handle the transportation of the vehicles ordered you will not need the CMR document.If you handle the transportation of the vehicles ordered you will not need the CMR document.
When and where can I pick-up the vehicles?
You can pick-up the vehicles as soon as their payment has been recorded by our accounting teams. The location of each car is indicated in the website in each vehicle detailed page and in the relevant order email sent.
Why is my account blocked?
Your account can be blocked for one of the following reasons: vehicles ordered that have not been paid, too long delays of sending the documents back. If your account has been blocked you can no longer access any of the markets you were previously able to. Please contact the local team in charge of your company for more information and to reactivate your account.
